Guides on finding, understanding and dealing with wasp nests.
A second nest discovered during a visit is not unusual, and with a fixed additional price it does not turn into a negotiation.
A garage with a motorbike, a mower or a generator holds noise, heat and fuel, so leaving the engines alone until the nest is treated is the safe choice.
Telling a wasp from a bee is not just trivia, because the right action depends on what is nesting, and some of these insects need protecting rather than treating.
The two days after a visit decide whether you need to do anything else, and a simple checklist keeps you calm and keeps you safe.
Watching at different times of day shows which insects are nesting and which are only visiting, and helps you describe the problem accurately.
