Guides on finding, understanding and dealing with wasp nests.
The grey papery nest left in the roof after treatment raises a fair question, and the most useful answer is to ask when you book.
A short, careful record of when and where wasps use a roof entrance gives the technician a clear picture, and costs you nothing but a few minutes a day.
Back porches and utility rooms see plenty of traffic and plenty of smells, and they are often where the first wasp is noticed.
On a big site with several buildings, the sensible approach is to survey carefully, deal with the worst nest first and check for a second one while the technician is there.
This one-page guide sets wasps, honeybees and bumblebees side by side so you can compare them point by point and reach a confident answer.
