Guides on finding, understanding and dealing with wasp nests.
A good phone call is half the job. Knowing what to say, and what to leave out, helps the technician arrive prepared and helps you avoid taking risks while you wait.
Finding one nest does not always mean the end of the problem, because a property can host more than one at different points of the season.
A club with a bar, a pavilion and a pitch has food, drink and crowds on match days, so wasps need dealing with before the fixtures begin.
Garden play equipment is often tucked into a shaded corner under trees and hedges, which is also where wasps like to settle.
Understanding how a professional reads gutters, fascias and soffits for signs of a nest helps you describe your own problem more clearly and judge advice you are given.
