Guides on finding, understanding and dealing with wasp nests.
From the first nest-builder in spring to the last stragglers in autumn, the wasp year has a pattern, and knowing it helps you judge when to act.
A roof nest is not equally busy all day, and knowing the daily rhythm helps you watch safely and describe it accurately.
With a small child in the house, a wasp nest is more than a nuisance, and the landlord’s calm, prompt response matters as much as the treatment itself.
The treatment is the main event, but the days that follow raise their own questions: stragglers, the empty nest and when to pick up the shears.
A nest on a boundary belongs to nobody in particular, so the timeline depends on a quiet word with the neighbour and clear access.
