Guides on finding, understanding and dealing with wasp nests.
A window is where wasps in the house end up, because they head for the light, so a crowd on the glass tells you more than a single stray does.
Following a single hypothetical nest through the calendar shows why each stage looks the way it does and why early action is the sensible choice.
Most stings are a short-lived nuisance, but near a nest they are more likely and more serious, so it pays to know the sensible steps before one happens.
A sting is painful on the ground, but on a ladder it can lead to a fall, which makes working at height near a nest one of the riskiest wasp situations.
Larger outbuildings give wasps plenty of places to hide, and the timeline has to account for animals, workers and open doors.
“Had to call out St George’s Pest Control last week, really good service got rid of wasps in one application, Ian was a very pleasant man and answered the questions I put to him, I would fully recommend St George’s”
Ian“After 30 years in this house with no wasp problems, two come along at once. The service was excellent, done in a very short time by a very pleasant gentleman. I thoroughly recommend although I hope never to have to use his services again!”
