Guides on finding, understanding and dealing with wasp nests.
For businesses that serve customers outdoors, a wasp nest is more than a nuisance, and the price to deal with it is fixed and the same as a home.
Many people try do-it-yourself removal because they are unsure what a professional visit involves. Knowing the steps helps you decide, and prepare, with confidence.
A nest in a tree or hedge at the edge of a car park can go unnoticed until a customer walks beneath it, so a short outside routine is worth having.
A summer gathering brings food, drink, children and guests who do not know your garden, so a host needs a quiet plan for wasps before anyone arrives.
Ivy, creepers and overhanging branches can hide a gap at the eaves and shield a nest from view, so what looks like a quiet wall may have a busy entrance behind the leaves.
