Guides on finding, understanding and dealing with wasp nests.
Same-day service is offered, which helps when a nest is blocking a door or threatening an event, and it is worth knowing how to make the most of it.
Some signs call for action straight away and others for a day or two of watching, and a short checklist helps you tell which is which.
A roof nest above the study or front door affects the working day, the post and any callers, and a few changes keep things running.
Cutting back overgrowth is a sensible job, but it is also one of the commonest ways to disturb a nest that had been hidden behind the leaves.
When the insects turn out to be honeybees, the right help comes from a beekeeper, so it pays to know how to confirm bees and describe them.
